You stay in control of your story. Every song is created from your approved lyrics, with transparent licensing, fair billing, and a strict ban on living artist impersonation.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Cademelo ("the Service"), creating an account, or purchasing credits, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. You must be at least 16 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Cademelo.
2. Account Registration & Security
To save song projects, manage credits, and download finished tracks, you may be required to register an account:
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach regarding your account.
3. The Cademelo Creation Studio
Cademelo provides a guided story-to-song platform. Users submit story briefs, refine lyric drafts, approve lyrics, and select musical directions to generate personalized audio tracks.
All musical generations require explicit lyric approval and rights attestation. Once lyrics are approved and generation begins, the lyric project is locked to maintain creative provenance.
4. Licensing Tiers & Usage Rights
Every generated song is associated with an explicit licensing tier chosen at creation or credit checkout:
Intended for gifts, private celebrations, personal keepsakes, and sharing with friends and family.
Intended for independent creators, businesses, podcasts, videos, and professional events.
Intended for paid advertising campaigns, broadcast television, radio, and enterprise marketing.
5. User Content, Representations & Attestations
When submitting stories, memories, names, or custom lyrics, you represent and warrant that:
Zero Impersonation Policy
We strictly prohibit unauthorized voice cloning, living artist mimicry, and prompts designed to counterfeit named musical artists. Violations result in immediate job termination without refund.
- You own or have obtained all necessary rights, permissions, and consents from any individuals mentioned in your story.
- Your content does not infringe on third-party intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or moral rights.
- Your content does not contain unlawful, harassing, defamatory, hateful, or sexually explicit material.
- You will complete the mandatory rights and safety attestation before initiating audio generation.
6. Credits, Pricing & Fair Billing Guarantee
Cademelo operates a credit-based generation system. Prices and credit packs are clearly displayed before purchase:
- All credit balances and purchases are tracked securely with integer precision in minor currency units.
- Fair Generation Guarantee: If a generation fails due to a technical error on our side, your reserved credits are automatically restored or the generation is retried at no additional charge. We never charge twice for a retried generation.
- Credits are non-transferable and are consumed upon successful song generation.
- Refund requests for unconsumed credit packages can be submitted within 14 days of purchase subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
7. AI Generation & Creative Characteristics
Personalized music is generated using advanced AI audio models based on your story brief, lyrics, and chosen musical direction.
While our system strives for high musical and vocal quality, AI outputs may exhibit creative variations in melody, cadence, accent, and instrumentation. You retain the ability to inspect and edit lyrics completely before generation.
8. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to misuse the Service or assist others in doing so. You will not:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, extract source models, or tamper with the generation pipeline.
- Generate content promoting violence, illegal acts, discrimination, hate speech, or harassment.
- Bypass credit verification, rate limits, or security controls.
- Distribute generated music under a Personal license for commercial or broadcast advertising purposes.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cademelo and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Cademelo in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Termination & Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or attempt artist impersonation. You may terminate your account at any time via your profile settings or by contacting customer support.
