Cademelo is a global, audio-first personalized music service that enables people to turn personal stories and moments into custom songs.
This Privacy Policy explains how Cademelo ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you access or use our website, creation studio, APIs, and related services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, as well as data generated during your creative journey:
- Account & Authentication Data: Email address, user identifier, session tokens, and connection metadata when you create an account or sign in.
- Story & Creation Prompts: Names of song recipients, relationship descriptions, life memories, important phrases, dates, musical preferences, and lyric suggestions.
- Rights & Consent Attestations: Records of your confirmation that you possess necessary rights and subject consent for the names, facts, and memories provided.
- Generated Audio & Creative Artifacts: Generated lyrics, approved song versions, waveform data, and audio files.
- Commerce & Transactional Data: Credit balance, transaction records, checkout identifiers, and purchase history. Payment card processing is handled securely by certified third-party payment gateways; we do not store full card numbers.
- Technical & Usage Telemetry: Device type, browser information, IP address, interface language preference, error logs, and basic interaction analytics.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal categories or personal data from children under the age of 16 without parental consent.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information strictly for legitimate product and service fulfillment purposes:
- To generate, refine, and deliver your personalized lyrics and custom songs.

4. Audio Storage & Delivery Architecture
All generated audio tracks and lyric project assets are stored in private, encrypted cloud object storage.
Audio playback and download links are generated as time-limited, signed URLs. Generated songs remain private to your account unless you explicitly choose to publish or share them via a public link.
Private Vault Guarantee
Your audio is never made public by default. Sharing requires your explicit action, and generated links expire automatically after delivery to ensure security.
5. AI & Music Generation Providers
To synthesize music and vocals, Cademelo operates a capability-based abstraction layer that coordinates with specialized AI audio providers:
- We record provider-neutral job records, generation statuses, and licensing tier parameters for auditability and provenance.
- Prompts sent to underlying generation providers are sanitized to exclude unnecessary personal account identifiers.
- We strictly enforce our zero-artist-impersonation policy: prompts imitating living artists or requesting unauthorized voice cloning are rejected before reaching generation pipelines.
- Providers do not have rights to use your private story briefs or custom audio to train public general models without your express authorization.
6. Your Privacy Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the European Union under GDPR and California under CCPA/CPRA), you possess specific rights regarding your personal information:
- Access & Portability: You can request a copy of your personal data, creative projects, and transaction history.
- Rectification & Correction: You can update your account profile, personal details, and language preferences directly in your settings.
- Erasure & Deletion: You can request complete deletion of your account, story drafts, and associated audio records.
- Withdrawal of Consent: You may revoke consent for optional marketing communications or draft data at any time.
- Object & Restrict: You have the right to object to specific processing activities where applicable under data protection laws.
7. Data Security & Retention
We implement robust technical and organizational security measures, including TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest for object storage and databases, and strict role-based access controls.
We retain personal information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide services, fulfill legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Inactive draft stories that are never submitted or generated may be automatically purged after a designated retention period.

Cademelo is a global service. Your data may be processed on servers and infrastructure located in various international regions. When we transfer data across borders, we ensure adequate protection through standard contractual clauses and industry-standard security safeguards.
